Eldritch Bean

Eldritch Roast is a Lovecraftian horror game in which a party of 3-4 baristas end up trapped in an eldritch dimension where they are sentient coffee beans selling humans as drinks. The game has a Game Master (GM) who controls the game, and orchestrates the encounters. The Main idea of the game is for the party members to escape the eldritch dimension by killing the primordial creature keeping them there. To do this, the party must find a total of 4 Eldritch Beans to summon the creature. These beans are placed by the GM in enemies, and around the environment for the party to find. The entire game takes place in the coffee store which can be randomly generated, or specifically designed by the GM. 

The main focuses of the game are exploration, and to invoke a comedic experience with sinister, psychological horror undertones scattered around. Players are encouraged to explore this concept, and make the game as freaky as they’d please.
